About

The Environmental Response Training Program is directed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Environmental Response Team under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) to develop and present various technical and health and safety courses. The program is designed to train personnel from federal, state, tribal, and local government agencies in hazardous waste site investigation/ remediation practices and procedures, as well as emergency response to hazardous chemical releases.

External Provider Program

The External Provider Program is an integral part of the ERTP in that training courses can be presented to individuals not able to attend courses conducted by the U.S. EPA ERTP training contractors.
